What is Tutoring Plus?
Our dedicated Tutoring Plus team (or TP for short) focuses on those who benefit most from individually structured or diversified 1:1 (one-to-one) support. Tutoring Plus is a series of programmes that focus on those who benefit most from individually structured or diversified one-to-one support, from SEND (Special Educational Needs), severe absentees or those at risk from mental health challenges. Here are some examples:
- In alternative provision (AP)
- Those at risk of exclusion from an educational setting
- Pupils with additional needs, e.g. SEND (special educational needs) or EAL (English as an additional language)
- Those with persistent or severe absence from school or college
Tutoring is available in person, online and in-home, tailored specifically to the needs of the young person. The Tutoring Plus pathway comprises two core tutoring packages, but many are bespoke - making it all the more exciting and rewarding. The core packages are:
